"it's like an evil atmosphere... it's completely opposite from what my family represents", sure, because sticking with an abusive husband and not putting your kids first is not evil? personally, i'd rather look and be strange than be abused. but i'm sure she doesn't see it as abuse, the victims rarely do, they'll justify why their abuser does what they do.

@Titanstower I agree. As long as he's making enough money to pay the bills and keep his kids happy, then everything seems alright to me.

Creeping around in the mornings, having to keep your clothes in another part of the house, not being able to stir a cup of coffee and constantly tiptoeing around that volatile pig who treats your children like shit is the "evil atmosphere" and is exactly what her family represents.
This woman just seems so unhappy with the situation at home that she ignores it. At least the "evil" family are loving.

O.o first of all, 40 hours a week is plenty of work. Second, how is it selfish when his children are so happy and her own children are quiet and sad. Jessica is so materialistic and shallow, she thinks material items are the only form of happiness
