Cute song but i thought the whole point of 'standby' mode was to reduce energy expenditure but also extend lifetime by not having to start from 'cold' each time so people replace devices less frequently. The manufacture of electronic devices also has an environmental impact: from the mining of materials, pollution, disposal (mercury is used in many devices) not to mention the energy consumed in the process.
I wonder if this has been considered and how it compares to the switch-it-off solution.

finally found it!! They showed this clip at the Live Earth Concert in Germany... it sounded awesome in the stadium. One of the best clips!
