  • Well this was fun! My Scottish Mom from Glasgow made her Shortbread with a pinch of salt (plus butter, flour and sugar), quarter cup of cornstarch (that makes the short bread crisp and light), pricks the dough with fork before placing in the oven and when removing from the oven lightly sprinkles with sugar then cuts in fingers. Oh with a nice cup of tea or coffee that is heaven!! I bet your grandmother enjoyed what you made! I enjoyed your video! :)

  • @weeknightingale, thanks so much, me nan didnt say much but she ate the lot straight away so thats the best result I could have, thanks for watching, im gonna try bread next, any suggestions on a flavour? :)

  • @primatearmy Oh nice! I down sized my life style and got rid of my bread maker. I now miss it! Loved the aroma of fresh baked bread. Cheese bread would be nice or raisin with a little cinnamon & walnuts or poppy seed bread. So many great breads! Potato bread I loved the little potato rolls. O h my so many wonderful baked breads!!!!!!!!!! Have fun cooking and baking. You are doing a great job!
