Voices from Africa: Drought, Crop Shortages, Deforestation and Increasing Number of Climate Refugees Linked to Climate Change
We are in Copenhagen, Denmark, where more than 15,000 participants from 190 countries are taking part in the two-week climate change summit. On Sunday, Democracy Now! producers Mike Burke and Elizabeth Press spoke to several delegates, activists and journalists from across Africa, from Ethiopia to Swaziland. [includes rush transcript]
Why doesn't democracy now cover the skeptics point of view about human caused global warming? Or even mention the faked climate change numbers? For a couple years I sent 20 bucks a month to democracy now but I stopped it due to their being so pro-illegal alien without giving any coverage to the damage they do to the job market in the US. This climate change coverage is typical and it's the reason I no longer support them financially.

Great, they're fortifying the place to prevent a popular uprising. They're using totalitarian methods to squash the will of the people. We'll see more of this as the new global warming taxing authority gains power.

Yup I am sure the region hasn't had a history of that kind of weather for 1000s of years. Somehow this is America's fault.
Damn Americans always changing the weather at will making it rain and stuff.

Sooooo there is a Government in the world that gives a dame about their people... Yeah right... This smells like a power grab for money and power not a hippie talk session.
I can not believe how many people believe Governments have the answer to anything.
