@dgtubing Actually, we are not free anymore. Most are little more than slaves to autocracy and plutocracy. If you get out of line, you well most likely be arrested and jailed.

Randy Forbes is part of the problem. He thinks believing in the unbelievable is something that should be cherished and treasured. HA! Christianity is pure insanity.

Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon, than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel. - Thomas Paine

“Religious controversies are always productive of more acrimony and irreconcilable hatreds than those which spring from any other cause. It's okay to believe in God. Just move to a higher elevation because occasionally he likes to drown people.

Tell you what seahorse, why don't you tell us in what year that motto first appeared on US coins and why.
You can either take a guess, or you can look it up, then tell us about how it was the founding father's 'belief' in the mythical that made them do that.
Seriously, aren't you a little old to have imaginary friends? I feel for anyone who has to deal with you IRL...

I'm not religious, I'm not Jewish, I'm not Christian. Is this my country too, or not? I've always believed that the USA was for anyone who wanted to live free and believe whatever they chose.
