  • I've got a lot more to learn

  • Can you find well nuts at any home improvement store?

  • when a fish hits ur bait the pole will come right out of the rod holder u need to add a strap

  • Great video. Not sure how I missed this one last year, but I plan to add some rod holders this weekend. We exchanged emails last year about possibly meeting up for some kayak fishing on the Mississippi ( I am in Eastern Iowa) . Would definitely like to do some river fishing this spring / summer. Let me know.

  • Well nuts are designed to be used when drilling an area that you are unable to reach the opposing end. Regarding this application I would have drilled a much smaller hole and used the appropriate size stanless steel bolt, washer and locking nut. That's how I rigged my yak. Good luck fishing!

  • @nipzilla Hahaha

  • Hi, I am new to kayak fishing and I am in the process of turning my sit in kayak into a fishing kayak. I purchased the Scotty Rodmaster ll and I was wondering what hardware you used on yours (what size well nuts and what size screws).

    Thanks for your help!

  • you should put bungies on the rod holder so when you land a whale it doesnt pull the rod out

  • dude, just for fun, get a plastic machine gun and mounted in the front and watch the stare from people on the lake :).

also, mount two plastic AR15 on each side. great fun and reaction from people.

i did that to mine as a joke and the park ranger actually came over and inspected them. :))

you can pop it out anytime.

  • I didn't think of putting my rod holders in the back like you have. I like that idea a lot. Good video.
