Bestselling author Tony Blankley discusses his new book, "American Grit" and the need for restoring the concept of nationalism: what's best for American interests, both domestically and internationally; and to restore traditional American values.

Mr. Blankley is a well-known commentator on TV and radio, and was a speechwriter for Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich's communications director and promoted the Contract With America. He was also an assistant attorney general in California, and even a child actor.

You are correct! Mr. Blankley mentions in the show he was indeed English--his father was one of Churchill's accountants and he remembers his father's recounting of WW-II in London.

Our hope is that all immigrants would as passionately adopt America as their home.

i respect this show as

1. the man is respectful of all guests, no matter the ideological differences.

2. there is no character defammation, but a serious look at the facts in a non-bias way.

He is a free trader and mostly a partisan hack. I would take McLaughlin himself over Blankley.

until I had watched the whole video but Russell Kirk's anti-libertarian nationalism was the worst thing that could've happened for us.
