Actually this does happen. At least it's happening to me right now. My best friend has had a crush on me for years. It was obvious to me and my other friends although she claimed to be straight. She finally came out to me about 6 months ago. I keep telling her I'm straight but really I'm not being 100% honest b/c I have feelings for her too...and she knows that. She flirts w/ me relentlessly and begs me to "come out already". I'm just waiting for the right time to tell her how I really feel.
