recorded in march 2003, at a small venue in columbus ohio, richard shindell performs the beautiful and poignant song wisteria. it's fascinating to observe his flat-picking guitar style, clearly visible in this video.
My step-dad died last year, and my mom can't afford to stay in the spacious home that holds so much love and memories for her. After I visited her little apartment, I played this song for her and it made her cry.

I bought my aunts old country home and restored it. Outside are the sycamores and wisteria wines. I have but to close my eyes..........so beautiful.

My wife and I are about to move across the country... I've always been a fan of this song, but now it's even more poignant for us.
