Get Ready Here I Come!

This Back Country Connection video is a remake of one of our earlier videos produced around the same Ray Bertram/Tony Atkinson song, "Get Ready Here I Come!" I was never 100% happy with the original video (which remains on our YouTube site here if you'd like to see it), so over the summer, while I had all of my kids together, I re-shot footage for a re-make of it. All of the footage was shot at the petting zoo located up here on top of Petit Jean Mountain with us - "Barnyard Friends." And special thanks to the management/ownership for allowing us to shoot for the video there...but really, no acting or staging was involved in the shooting, though - we were just having fun and I was simply capturing it as it happened. Looks like a great family place and the shots of the animals are cute, but not as cute as your kids. Good song, breaks the mold and introduces some really interesting chord progressions - even a bit Nirvanaesque. All adds to the individuality and creativity of this catchy song.
