  • @sarcee1960 - she was in the choir and some musicals we had. And she sang in a few assemblies during the year. Very nice person and very talented. She would spend Spring break in Myrtle Beach playing piano bars, and also played in Georgetown (D.C.) at a few bars (her dad went with her, since she was underage).

  • @ponyrdr415 Cool. Was she involved musically at high school?

I notice her youthful singing is more articulate and enunciated than her older voicings where she tends to slur her lyrics.

  • She was probably 15. She went to high school with me. 'Ellen' could hear a new song and immediately play it on the piano. I remember her playing Lionel Ritchie songs. Such a gift! (Her dad was the minister at the church I attended in Rockville, MD.)

  • It is so beautiful, it hurts!

  • How old would she have been then? Thirteen? Very cool! She had so much talent even then!
