Open (Organization to Provide EducatioN) is a non-profit organization devoted to providing education for poor children in India. Open's mission is to provide access to primary/secondary school and college education for poor children in India, based on need and merit. To ensure that education is actually related to the real life need of making a living. To act as a unifying force for people of like mind. Out of many, one.

OPEN's friends in the music group RASIKA performed Tamil light music concerts in the Washington DC area to raise money for OPEN. Monies were raised through sponsorships and advertisements in the concert brochures, as well as ticket and food sales.
