@SuperAdventures G-Force does alter except its does keept alot of Gatchamans original music in place. Althou reshuffled around at points. I relised that G-force with the use of music and dialogue is made to be feel darker. Thats why i am gravitated towards it.

@sygo7g I'm still trying to get the scoop behind these particular episodes, which appear to be the earliest works of the "G-Force" dub. Crazy how there exist two versions of each pilot episode, both versions having distinctive soundtracks that never made it to the regular episode set.
With BotP and Gatchaman having series boxsets on DVD, it's too bad that "G-Force" will never be released in it's entirety due to being so niche and crowded out. Cartoon Network recordings or bust on that one.

nice video
Shudder. Oh dear. I cant beleave this was inline to be G-Force. I praise G-Force for not falling into the cheeseyness like BOTP. And yet it dodged the bullet.

@Akyho Only the intro/ending theme and the soundtrack are different, otherwise the dialogue is identical to the aired version of this pilot (which itself has different background music that was left on the cutting room floor). So there's two pairs of the pilot episodes ("Unaired" and "Aired"), each of which has unique soundtracks not retained for the rest of "G-Force"'s episodes.

Geez, why is the visual quality so fucking interlaced?

@HumanDaikon These unaired pilot episodes have a lot going against them. They appeared to have been produced off of poor-quality/aging "Gatchaman" film prints (hence the inherent poor video quality). Not just that, but this video file was originally encoded in PAL, as these eps are only available in an Austrailian "Battle of the Planets" DVD. I then had to re-encode the already poorly encoded video file to NTSC frame rate (23.976 FPS) just to get it to play on most apps. Screwy, ain't it?
