Green Energy Bootlegger

The Energy Bootlegger produced it's first usable electricty on June 2nd 2011. I'll box in the crude turbine to keep the noise down and then soon hold the first public demonstration where we will have live OFF GRID plugged in music with PA and Microphones! My next step is to work on the bio-gas producer so I can at least get the truck to idle on the gas for the demonstration, I think all I need for now is a bigger hose. We shall see.

Kenny, Do you have a steam nozzle on both sides of that flywheel?

@tsaw1583 I don't know if a nozzle on both sides is good or bad, I just did it that way and it works. There is certainly room for improvement. I'll put a box or something over the top of it when Local Ideas hosts the first annual OFF GRID outdoor mini concert. I'm thinking Saturday the 18th or 25 of June. PL&H K

Ok.. The reason why I ask is that according to the steam pattern.. as shown in the video, they are working against each other. Try directing all the steam to one side of the turbine. The reason why I suggest this is because - unless both steam flows are 100% identical - the stronger of the two will be slowed down by the weaker.
