OC Transpo 5083: Random Beeping Sound. (What is it?)

Riding OC Transpo Orion VII NG HEV # 5083 on route 123 Gloucester North and it was making a random beeping sound. If anyone has any idea what this beeping sound is or why it's going off, please comment. And for the record, this bus was equipped with the new EDACS Digital Radio, so perhaps the beeping was coming off of that?

They need to get more minibuses - something like the Arboc Easy-on - for routes like the 123 which have really low ridership.

They do not plan on buying any minibuses for the future. The 123 will be a Hybrid Route.

I've heard that kind of sound come from EDACS radios when the user's been paged. We have this goofy-ass EDACS system here where there's a long comms console on the dash with a 2x40 character VFD display (aqua color text) and like ten white buttons. It's obnoxiously loud and beepy. Do your buses have the same?

I was on a hybrid a while back and it was making a really loud noise while decelerating, not the normal hybrid noise though.

if the beeping only came up when he turned, its probably either traction control or his turning signal prevost have that beep when they raise the extra set of wheels on a turn
