Godson, Red Power Squad, Dragon Fli Empire, Kaiva & Bechoko Youth Drummers - Collaboration FOTR 2009

http://www.thegodson.com This collaboration took place @ Folk On The Rocks 2009 & was called "Exchanging Beats" which featured Godson from Yellowknife, NT, Dragon Fli Empire from Calgary, AB, Red Power Squad from Edmonton, AB, Kaiva from Nunavut, & the Bechoko Youth Drummers. We met only 2 days prior & were given about 12 hours to come up & rehearse a half hour performance (although maybe 6 hours was used). This made for a once in a lifetime collaboration with 3 MC's, 2 breakdance crews, 2 DJ's, a throat singer & traditional drumming. Although this performance was actually 30 minutes, it had to be squeezed down into 10 minutes of footage to fit YouTUBE upload. Enjoy.
