18 tines, wow thats an impresive animal. He must do well in the rut. 12 tines makes them a royal, is there a clasification above that, because im sure this guy wold fit the bill.

Note, however, that this is not a really wild animal. It lives in a big public park just North of Copenhagen. In the old days it was reserved for the Kings' hunting pleasure, today it is a public park and a favorite green area for picnics, sports, walks etc. You should come and visit (but bring no gun, just a camera) - there are many animals like this one, and in October it shows off.

I actually took the video from my bicycle (well, I stopped the bike for the purpose). These animals are used to people, but of course you should not approach them at very close range when they are in mating mood.

I recommend all visitors to Copenhagen to take the suburban train to Dyrehaven (station: Klampenborg, from where it is only a few minutes walk to the park). Enjoy!
