  • They are Genelec 1029A active monitors, quite old, the new ones have a more rounded look.

  • @TheGrowdaddy So you are speaking from inexperience. You don't use it. I had it and sold it because it is riddled with bugs... and I got tired of using Win 7 on my mac. I went to Logic Pro. Works awesome. Just a tool? You are a tool.

  • @aicentre1 . No, X1 is your mixer. If you're doing live recordings or group performances then you would need to have an interface to connect your mics/instruments into sonar for a multitrack recording of just the raw audio. Mix it down in Sonar. You could use a mixer for the mixdown if you want..or a multitrack controller to mix it down in Sonar. But you don't need a mixing desk at all.

  • @attractivefrenchguy , LOL. I personally don't use Cakewalk but it's just a tool. I know many very successful artists who use it and produce fantastic music. It has all the tools you would expect from any DAW. In fact, it has many features that the other DAW's don't have. Cakewalk has Sys Ex management which, say, Ableton Live does not. And many many other features. So I think you're just talking shit and i guarantee you don't know shit about producing music or DAW's.

  • Sonar x1 sucks ass...

  • @winnino

This is a professional music creating software, obviously its not that easy. It took me weeks to understand it, because Its what I wanted to do. But if you already gave up on it then producing music isn´t for you.

  • can somebody help me? I am having weird problems with a Sonar 4 Producer Project 32 Bit opened in X1 64 and 32 Bit... crackling espacially in the bass etc ... does anybody know something about that? thank you so much!!

  • @aicentre1 It's ussually good to have a 32 track mixer if you are planning to do a lot of unique live recording. If you're aiming for digital, you normally just need a good digital mixer with a lot of mixer track so you could differentiate your sounds when you record.

  • I need a new music production software. >.<) Sonar X1 is really good as far as i heard but i only use Sonar 3 so far. Anyone wanna help donate so I could get that program?! pm message me (^^)

  • yeah how exactly do you get to hear the metronome
