Yutaka Yokokura - Love Light

This is the original 1978 import release of Yutaka Yokokura's Love Light Album. This album was originally released in Japan and then released in the U.S. after the song "Love Light" became popular. Although this album was never released on CD, Using ALFA record's virgin vinyl and with high end audio gear I was able to digitize it with very high quality.

Yutaka is an accomplished koto player. Using this traditional Japanese instrument he was able to meld its sounds with Jazz creating crossover fusion. Yutaka originated this genre before other groups such as Hiroshima popularized its use.

I have searched for this for years. I heard it the first time in Los Angeles in the late 70's. When I relocated to Chicago no one had even heard of Yutaka Yokokuru. Another great artist that didn't get to the masses. Thank you for the post!!!!!

@hdshk Love Light was on the Alpha LP label. Most other cd's were released on the GRP label and I have most of the cd;s, even Love Light which cost me $50 and can't be found anymore.
