  • your commentary sucks. It just shows how much you don't know about gymnastics. you basically just talk about nothing.

p.s.. the only "awful" thing besides the nutcracker music is that hat you're wearing

  • Hey, thanks for watching my video even though you didn't like it. You are welcome to watch any of my other vids or none of them at all! That's the point!

And at least we agree on the nutcracker music! Also, I wish I did know more about gymnastics. That's why I watch it, research it, and chat about it online. I am hoping to maybe start some kind of adult gymnastics class for fun soon!

By the way, is that you tumbling on your channel? Your skills are awesome, and it looks like so much fun!

  • Well thought out insights. Well done! I completely agree about the obviously underaged Chinese-see how tiny they are now? In four years they'll be a foot taller. How many 16 year old girls close to their adult height grow over 8 inches in 4 years? Hmm. ;)

  • It's a tough one to call. Like I said, I'm trying not to dwell on it and just enjoy the Games, but it's kinda hard when you want the US women to win fair and square! It just gives them the opportunity to go out there and show the Chinese up anyway, though. But thanks for the comments!

  • The gymnast with the video camera was the only gymnast from Slovakia, Ivana Kovacova. I have no idea why they showed her so much, but I would guess she was feeling either because she was starstruck, because she wanted to remember everything about the experience or she was trying to steal moves!

  • Thanks for the info! Let's just say she was starstruck!

  • the gymnast filming was Tina Erceg from Croatia and she is a huge fan of Cheng Fei.

  • Who said I have an American accent? I still sound English; I'm just saying that some people ask rhetorically sometimes and bring up the American Revolution... don't know where you got that I sound American. Anyway, I live near Asheville, North Carolina. But yes, I like to imitate any accent, including many different regional American and British accents.

  • you got the american accent already? Whoa! That is weird, is it coz of your school that makes you talk different or can you try to still talk british. Which part of america do you live in?

  • Oh, I wasn't offended, I just thought you were a foreigner equating the fact that an American gymnastic fell over with Christie being American and thinking that was a reason to scorn her. But you weren't, so it was just my misconception. It would be funny if somebody said to you "Are you British? Didn't they lose the Revolutionary War?" I say that because I'm British too, living in the US for 3.5 years now, and people are stupid like that sometimes. Lataz!

  • Doesn't mean anything, i'm just saying because American gymnastics team are really good. I'm from Britain. But Friends is my fave American Comedy! Don't think i'm offending you, america is a gr8 place to go to/Live. i have been to florida and Pitsbourgh i dont knw how you spell it but ah well.

  • The same goes for US gymnasts who trained for that long. Are there Chinese who look older or younger than they are? Of course. And are there Americans who look older or younger? Of course. In fact, I'd say that Shawn looks about 14 too. The difference is that everybody knows she is 16, and no US media hinted otherwise. Different builds have nothing to do with race. There are exceptions everywhere. The problem is level playing field; like or dislike the age rule, to become the best, play fair.

  • Nobody significant thinks they are underage just because of how they look compared to Caucasians; that's what morons say. The real official problem is that even the Chinese media had said she was 14, then they changed their minds, the Chinese government wouldn't let any foreign media investigate it, and THEN they made her a passport that said she's 16. She looks 14 in relation to the other Chinese girls, but they all look about 2 years younger than they are; Cheng looks 18, Jiang and He about 12

  • If one person obeys the rules, whoever they are (American or Chinese), and another person breaks the rules, whoever they are, if the ONLY reason the win is because they broke the rules, they are not at all as good in character or in the sport as the person they "beat". If the US team included somebody possibly under 14, the Chinese government would have kicked them out just because they are desperate to give the West a false impression of greatness.

  • Wow, good eyes. I suppose that means all Americans fall over all the time... what in the world did that post even mean?

  • Haha, what are you the champion of to say who knows about gymnastics? You clearly know enough to do it, which is awesome, but you won't be qualified to know what somebody knows until they either say something clearly incorrect or you become them. Unless of course the opinions she has that you disagree with are overridden by your sheer godhood dominating the feelings of all mortal fans of the sport. Good luck at your next competition... and the demi-god Olympics.
