what's the difference between AUS8 and AUS8A?

a alte comment, don't know if anyone else said it..but Taiwan is NOT really the PRC (people's rep of Ch.) they go waaaay back to early days around the 40's or so, where the top brass took all the best men and equipment, moved to Taiwan, declared themselves independent, pointed the big middle finger at Mao, and have been independent since. China still claims Taiwan belongs to them, but they have their own government tax and legal system, it's a separate country. period. hope that's informative :)

BTW, don't let any Taiwanese catch you calling them Chinese. I know one or two, and they will tell you "I AM NOT CHINESE, I'M TAIWANESE!!!". It kinda is a different country, even though China won't agree. Things are very different there, so I wouldn't be surprised if stuff manufactured there was better.

Yea there is really nothing wrong with AUS-8 or 440C, you just have to touch 'em up. I like to keep my Blink (AUS-8) as sharp as possible and I like touch it up once a week, how horrible is that? You're gonna fondle it anyway, might as well sharpen it.
