  • To the folks posting questions here, and on similar Youtube pages, about how to break into the industry: start by taking an acting class. Having natural talent is a gift, but it won't get you cast in plays or movies. You need to take some classes, learn the ropes, get some practical experience,, then get out and start auditioning. No one will hire an actor (or a brain surgeon or mechanic) who has not been trained. So get off your butt and start taking the best classes you can find.

  • Wow, great advice and insight, especially Mr. Teschner. I never know whether to act the way I think they want me to act, or to do the scene how I think it should be done. Now I know, I'm just going to go w/my gut. P :)
