I got this position on ICC against Alex Lenderman in a simul

    I played Rd1+ He took the c5 pawn Kxc5

I played Rd5+ and we agreed to a draw

there is no shelter for the white king

if Kc6 then Rd6!! still stalemate he never crosses the d file

  • @topman213 we all understood that you idiot. But that means stalemate and that means draw, and someone in a obiously winning position doesn't want draw.

  • the black king can just take the white rook when next to it....

  • redneck

  • ...yet another reason to get the materially-ahead side's rook behind its far-advanced rook pawn. Then the enemy

king to its chagrin has the N2 square.

  • @Zelrio28 eh? and that is awful banter from me there. im disappointed in myself

  • Lol, harrassment

  • Excellent use of infinite desperado. Queen vs rook is the most common desperado though.

  • it has to be frustrating for black not to be able to finish the game with a win.

  • this is more annoying for black than being stuck in traffic!
