Sketching on sketchbook pro for android. Using the HTC EVO view tablet by sprint and the htc scribe pen. Pen has ntrig technology giving the ability to have full pressure sensitivity on sketchbook pro.

So far the htc evo view is a fantastic, 7 inch tablet that works very well for sketches on the go.

I am using the glove to avoid stray lines when working with sketchbook pro. Sketchbook does not have palm rejection as I use the zoom in and out feature a lot drawing in a tiny screen. So I cut the fingers off a cotton glove to be able to rest my palm and still use my fingers when I need it.

If you have any questions just ask. The htc evo view is very much like the htc flyer but branded by sprint and has the ability of 4G.

  • Hmm seems a bit small for my liking but I do wanna try this out. would you recommend getting a screen protector? Cause I always feel a bit scared about scratching screens with the pens :P

  • @backcramp I do not suggest a screen protector as they make most pens work poorly. I never use them and I haven't scratched my electronics.

  • Nifty little thing, though too expensive. Can you recommend me a good sketching/coloring tablet for around $400? Something that has pressure sensitivity. Thanks.

  • @Kriskof I got this one for $280 on eBay ;). Price isn't too bad if you buy there.

  • Well, since they have this app compatible with the pen I might reconsider the HTC Flyer :)

  • @RoseDillinger90 big reason why I got it again. I had the flyer before and sold it thinking honeycomb was not going to come out for it. To my surprise it did. The flyer is out of stock everywhere in my area and best buy no longer lists it which is sad. But ebay has the Evo view and flyer all over and a variety of prices.

  • ugh! i wish i could draw X(

  • It looks like your video may be sped up a bit - understandably so. However, I'm a little curious about lag.

Also, are you able to verify what the largest possible canvas size is on the new Sketchbook Pro for Android?

  • Do you prefer this tablet over the IPad2?

  • Your really good. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 specifically for the purpose of learning digital art. I can't sketch well but I love doing abstract art and Sketchbook Pro makes that almost too easy. I thought I was addicted to my cellphone and now I can't put my tablet down :)

  • So, do you recommend this tbalet for drawing on the go? Right now I'm using the Galaxy Note, it's good but it's a little too small, is the flyer/evo view enough?

  • @LatinVixen Hmm, I'll look into it. Thanks for the heads up. :D

  • question, will you be able to do like a video of the best ipad styluses because i see most of your vids may show 1 or 2 but i mean like of everything you have?? and or just say if the jot pro or pogo sketch pro is worth it would be fair unuf.. ty :D

ps. i would rlly love possibly some tutorial vids from you? maybe like human and animal?? cuz im having a very hard time and the way you present everything in your videos i rlly like and would think tutorials would be awesome from you
