@weirdguy564 I can see that, but I'm just wondering in which series continuity does the storyline to the game take place. Not which series does it take influence and inspiration from.

I'm having difficulty surmising exactly which series War For Cybertron takes place before. It's not G1, because the Dinobots were born on Earth in G1. Ergo, it must be one of the more recent continuities, like the live-action-movies, and the Prime series.

Any idea which?

@Celdrach The games take inspiration from most of the series, movies included.

However, they're mostly taken from G1, that is the first cartoon series. The next biggest influence will be the current TV series called Prime.

From the movies you see slight influences, mostly the small moving parts on the characters models, and some animations like Starscream landing after catapulting onto a ledge.

Tell me please, in which continuity does War For Cybertron take place? The Live-action-movie continuity, the Prime continuity, or another series?

Given that the Dinobots are in the upcoming Fall Of Cybertron, I suppose it goes without saying that it does NOT take place within the Generation 1 continuity.
