Bob Mintzer sat in with these guys whilst he was in Adelaide, Australia in 2006. This is the first time this song had been played (I am told), and was written by Mintzer as well. My brother, Tim Bowen, is the double bass player.
I was lucky enough to be at this gig, and Mintzer just blew me away with how easy he made it look. Also his carts are just simply fantastic. He's a sensational musician, composer/arranger.
The other thing that I couldn't believe was how hard the drummer could swing for someone who was only 16 or 17 years old at thie time! Nailed every hit and did it with ease.
Wow! You're diggin'!
