There is absolutely no oyster taste in this. Washng oysters remove the salty juice. This is a buffet of lemon, salt, pepper sauce, soya sauce, etc...

Wow, I've never seen toppings like this nor an oyster being opened this way before. I think the French do tend to open it from the lip, but I've always opened from the hinge. Good to know in case I don't have an oyster knife hand though. As for the toppings, I would have stopped at the lemon juice, but I have seen elaborate toppings before (different ingredients though). In Thailand and the Philipines, they put a lot of herbs and seasonings on top before eating.

I must say, i think that oysters should be eaten, only with lemon ore lime... So as pure as possible... Just saying... :)
