I hesitate to call Nachtwey's photographs art. He is more like Salgado who rejects any notion of art. These men are documentarians not artists.

One should be careful when taking pictures of the conflict between Israel to the Arabs who since day 1 try to annihilate her. It is very easy to fall into the trap of Palestinian peopaganda (search for Pallywood). I wonder of this photographer took pictures also of Israeli children who are shelled in south Israel more than 9 years and have to spend large time in bomb shelters, or of Israeli civilians who were killed in bus explosions and other brutal Arab acts.
