@elweffa funny thing is this is a true story, i went on a cadet camp to a tornado base - where most of the RAF's intelligence (looking at roads and shit in Afghan for IEDs etc is) and this very chap told us this story (though more like i thought i saw rocket rails so i spoke to my officer and they decided to scramble some tonkas and i was kind of like oh shit, people are now dead cause of me!!) about a month or two before it aired first

stop arguing we're allies that means we help each other out, the past is the past it happened now let it go what really matters is the war in Afghanistan together Britain and America make one hell of a team i am British and i have as much respect for the US military as i do the HM Armed Forces.

I find it kind of disappointing that there is so much anger and disrespect between America and Britain, since both are great countries. Both also have a fantastic military as far as I'm concerned. Maybe it's time to let go of the past?

Yes, actually, you lost the American Revolution, you failed to defeat America in the War of 1812, and the only reason you won WWI was because of a last minute influx of the US military and Wilson convincing the Germans you'd be fair, which you weren't and paid for it years later when Hitler expelled your incompetent asses from Europe prompting you to be the US to break nuetrality, which we did.
