  • Hi James,

Is this a new model that has been recently released. If so , is the sound improved from the

previous AC model? I had heard the sound was quite enemic, even though it was tsunami sound.

  • @rottiuree sound is definitely improved.

  • why are you branching out to eastern railroads?

  • @TheTrainman888 because Norfolk Southern, BNSF, CSX, and KCS are all seen where I live and I model where I live.

  • are those fbox's huberts models?

  • @jmdhintz one is huberts and two are exactrail. Two of the double doors are athearn genesis

  • should i get the intermountain fa7 or should i get a bli ge ac6000 qsi?

  • i searched the web over 4 damn ever trying 2 find a company producing modern day gull wing and comfort cab ge locomotives with sound not dash 8s i mean big ones an finaly found these i love it really nice im jus soooo excited thank u personally 4 showing the overall reamarkable accuracy i work around the real thing daily and this things awesome right even with overland brass models thank u

  • That bell is slower than the Athearn SD70M-2 by the sounds of it, and it sounds more faithful to the prototype. The horns still suck, and remain the biggest letdown of Tsunami decoders, in my opinion, LOL. Nice vid.

  • @jlwii2000 I wonder if they ever will.

  • Apparently, Athearn's factory in China shut down.

  • awesome video! thanks for the review! I've got 4 of these on order. ATSF, 2 x BNSF, 1 x GE Demo. though, the air con vents are below the cab windshields on the sides. :-)

  • Would be awesome if Intermountain would make some IAIS gevo's

  • Awesome review, that engine sounds amazing! Keep the videos coming!

  • GO Navy!
