Russian exact atomic clock time signal can be heard in Finland
at 10 MHz. I've myself used it for astronomical measurements.

  • Interesting. I'm in SW Ohio, and we can hear a clock, but it counts by seconds only.

  • intresting, here in Oregon, USA, we would never hear this, as WWVB or WWVH would obliterate the signal. Often times, I hear WWVB and WWVH at exactly the same time.

  • I think you will find that is the time and frequency standards signal from the Institute of Metrology for Time and Space RVM on 9996khz.
