"Ce n'était qu'un rêve" was Dion's debut single in France.

At age twelve, Dion collaborated with her mother and her brother Jacques to compose her first song, "Ce n'était qu'un rêve" ("It Was Only a Dream").Her brother Michel Dondalinger Dion sent the recording to music manager René Angélil, whose name he discovered on the back of a Ginette Reno album. Angélil was moved to tears by Dion's voice, and decided to make her a star.

I have never seen such growth and maturation in any other singer like i seen in Celines voice and in general her personality and her behavior and holding on the scene,that i find very simpatic and charming and also very bitter and tasty.She is like french wine and fine sorted coffie.As i listen to that voice so long since my late childhood till now im 30ty i have never heard this for me most beautiful chanson of all time, anyway i like to say that she - with her every new interpretatation,

Only one Celine...it always warms my heart to hear her sing- what an amazing gift God has given to her. I have never heard her publicly speak ill of anyone. I love that she has remained kind and humble- in spite of her fame. It is my dream to learn the French language and teach it to my children. Hearing this sweet song, they will love listening and learning the language at the same time!
