Yew spelt Danials rong! Just kidding! I was in that situation with baby geese years back and didn't know what to do because, once, I wandered too close to some baby geese...and their parents saw me and weren't too happy about it! Started hissing like crazy!! I swear I never even heard snakes hiss like that! Got it on video during a C&O Canal bike ride in 1997. Interesting shots of original B&O culverts too.

@bullfrog1954 - at first, the parents were down at the river making a huge fuss. the babies were up on the other side of the tracks, and couldnt get over the tracks. we brought them down to the river bank, but where they went in the river, they sort of got stuck in a crook and tried climbing out. i dont think the parents knew where they were, so they didnt bother us.

You are a nice person, at first it looked like the parents weren't far away, but they certainly were missing those goslings!

Canadien Geese are cranks. Never fear. They will find their goslings. When I am biking I spray them with my water bottle to keep them away. They give you a peck while pedaling, you will know it for weeks. Nice Rambler at 05:00 . Better than new.
