  • PS...this IS NOT Toby's song...it was written by a Canadian songwriter...Mr Fred J Eaglesmith!! A Canadian treasure, check him out.

  • @skarpes Toby recorded this song, he never claimed to write it. If you look at the CD you will see that the credit is given to Fred Easlesmith. Toby recorded it because he liked it so much.

  • Fred Eaglesmith is perhaps the most brilliant songwriter/storyteller in a couple of generations. Check out "Fred Eaglesmith on Letterman" , "Miranda Lambert Time to Get a Gun" and "Alan Jackson Freight Train". Just a sampling of Fred's genius. Have seen his show twentysome times. Never disappointed!

  • @skarpes - I bet it paid for Fred's bus for a few miles, anyway...

This chump Keith can't write his own songs, so what? Fred's friend are fewer but truer..

  • @Music101Country Its a capo.. it just changes the key :)

  • @skarpes It's a surprisingly good song for a Canadian ;-)

  • i love this song, and toby is the right singer for it! *-*

  • gorgeous song + great singer= me buying it @ walmart.....Toby Keith is a role model, great entertainer/songwriter/singer.....an American treasure!

  • This country song certainly tells a story, reminds me of The Big Yellow Taxi..."you take paridise and put up a parking lot", done most recently by Counting Crows. Toby's songs are know to tell a story, I see off to the right of the this video, a selection called Courtesy of Red, White & Blue", I really like that country song, such dynamic lyrics towards the conclusion of the song. I also dig The Big Green Tractor & She Thinks my Tractors Sexy, my favorite being I take off on anthing sexy!

  • This is a Fred Eaglesmith song,he is a Canadian folk icon.
