  • How do you go about finding seeds that are not tainted by monsanto?

  • google the web ...ebay has a bit of stuff

    google heirloom vegtables

  • Always handling the business. I was honestly disappointed not to see you pulling out some vacuum sealer from 1940 that you restored, lol, Mick you are amazing, the lady even ribbed me on sending you the vid of my veggie patch of doom, lol. I ordered a movie about 80's Australian B movies, looks pretty funny!) Hope all is well, and a big hug to the family!

  • alls well rob hows your mob ?

i think theres a vacume pump bhind the old mans dairy about 1940s vintage ?

and i think a failed vegie patch in nevada..

    would b nuthing new ?

ozzy movies ...there should b a feast of skippyroos and koala bears and stuff ...cheers

  • very cool. do you know how to harvest seed from carrots?

  • yep ..if you want carrot seed deb you will need to wait 2 years untill it sends up a flower stalk ...but make sure you have the rite variety ..monsanto hybrids ,may not flower or if they do they could be sterile

...if you do have seed you need to dry it out ....and store in a air tight container ..

    cheers

see all

  • @stvbw I know this video is a lil old but if your still interested in the seeds I used these people last year for seeds and live plants and was very pleased. Almost everything they carry is heirloom and certified organic, they are the Seed Savers Exchange at seedsavers org..... and their catalog is gorgeous, full color photos.

  • oh yeah, i think you mentioned that before. sorry.

i bought the heirloom seeds...actually, i think my cabbage seeds go back to the late 1800's.... and cabbage...that is my next question. it's hard to figure out how to harvest seeds when the seed isn't obvious.....i'm gardening challenged! :)
