I don't know why, but this has been the scariest part of the process so far! I don't know, there's just something about 14'' of tubing being yanked out of your insides!!!! It DID hurt but really not that badly -- it just stung a little -- I think it was mostly just the mental aspect of it! It is SO nice to have those drains out though. Not to mention I have an EXCELLENT nurse -- as you can tell from the videos, she rocks. Yay! Another milestone in the process. :)

  • was the pain really that bad from drain removal? shucks. . . this is why I took law and not med (don't know why im typing tenderly). anyway - was the pain worse than bearing children or easier? Thanks so much for your vlog btw, such a major help and relief to have some insight!!! much appreciate, bless. ;D

  • Congrats on your upcoming surgery! So, I went back at 4 weeks. Like I always say though, it's different for everyone. Just listen to your body. You have a pretty physically demanding job as well . . .so I would be cautious. I think 3 weeks is the minimum!! Good luck!
