As suggested by the title, these are some videos I shot around our property just outside of Waverly, TN. I apologize for the low quality and lack of sound, but all I had access to was my 5.1mp FinePix A500. Apparently the makers of this fine example of electronic prowess did not think to allow narration or the sound of nature destroying the landscape. If you really feel as though your viewing experience requires an auditory backdrop, I suggest your trot your little cyberself over to your favorite legal music download site and download Johnny Cash's "Five Feet High and Rising" and "Flood" by Jars of Clay. I also apologize for the shakiness, but I placed a higher priority on knowing where my feet were stepping.
For those of you less familiar with the area: The culvert you see is tall enough that I have to stand tip-toe to look out and over when standing next to it in the ditch (which is about the same height on the left side). I am 5'7". I intentionally showed my boots in one video to give a depth reference, and those boots you see are about 15" tall; my jeans are only covering the very tops to keep the rain and splashing water out. The large body of water pouring into and through the front and side fields is Blue Creek, which is normally invisible from our side due to the trees.
