Linda Chavez, Chairwoman of the northeastern panel of the United States Commission on Civil Rights, questions FAIR representatives Dan Stein and Michael Heffmon at a hearing in Prince William County, VA on Dec. 14, 2007. Heffmon had previously taken credit for drafting the controversial immigration resolution introduced by Gainesville Supervisor John T. Stirrup. Stirrup testified earlier that morning.

Curious pestie, who or what got you thinking anyone who commits a civil offense is a "criminal" and that anyone who gives such a person a helping hand is a "aiding and abetting?" If a civil offense makes you a criminal, that means everyone with a parking ticket is a criminal, AND anyone who opens the door for such a person is "aiding and abetting." Was it your television set? Or did you get brainwashed in person?

Cheap shot...she started it with the xenophobic remark and stating that Dan and his group was racist. And yes, she did violate the law by aiding and abeting an illegal alien, not just by employing them.
