@boardrfolif3 Yup, SolarJoos claims the new and improved Version 2 of the JOOS Orange offers improved efficiency with up to 20% better charging capability than the original version.
Version 2 has been released, seems like more complex circuits involved. Pretty sweet product, when I go out in woods I leave phone in car. One day I'll prolly regret it when I loose my keys or an emergency situation *fingers crossed*
@therandomdot Yes, I'd say the vast majority of items we use here in the states were made in China or have parts that were made in China. There's thousands of examples of cheap solar products that are all but useless, but so far the Solar Joos has proven to be better than the run-of-the-mill. (China also produces some of the worlds best products - an example being Apple products). Anyway, I'll be updating this review with Part 2 by March after almost a year since I got it.

Oh god...you had me all the way up until "made in china". I've already wasted money on 2 MIC solar chargers that did not work at all. One had a built in batt pack that would not charge, and the panel would not charge anything directly plugged in. Had a trickle charger from a car that did not want to charge either. Both made in china. I'd prefer a better company produce some solar panel solutions, b/c this made in china stuff is getting annoying.
