I think Jay needs to retire or something. Conan is the funniest person alive. I have been watching Conan ever since I can remember and he just gets funnier. It's not his fault if old people are too stupid to get his comedy.

Though it might have been a joke, it was actually truth. The Jay Leno Show has not been getting good ratings since it's on the same time as shows like CSI and The Mentalist. Conan O Brien has not been getting ratings as host of The Tonight Show either, which is why NBC is considering switching back to Leno for the show.

He looked sincere before the punchline, and I suspect comedians all have this innate need to be funny. I thought it was in good taste and in line with Conan's self-deprecating self AND true re: Jay moving to 10pm.
