@USA4July1776 Actually if you read the comics it was the Kent state massacre they were referencing. He took some creative liberties and she didn't really put a flower in the gun but she was still killed. I think another movie did it too which is why the watchmen did it. Four people did die and 12 were wounded mostly students that were just walking by. It was a peaceful protest and they had no real reason to fire except out of hate and fear. That's the truth so get over yourself.
