Hartsfield-Jackson recently held its ninth annual FOD Walk to highlight runway safety and underscore the danger Foreign Object Debris can pose to aircraft.
More than 200 employees from around the airport searched Runway 8L/26R and the north cargo ramp for anything that could be sucked into a jet engine.
