This START Treaty was specifically designed to reduce the number of America's nuclear warheads, as well as the number of missile launchers. Since the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base is one of only three bases in the country that deploy ICBM's, there's a strong chance it's going to be targeted for reductions. What will this do to America's national defense capabilities? How does this affect the current and future missions at Malmstrom? What does this mean for the Great Falls community and Montana's economy? These are questions I'll tackle with the new START Treaty Advisory Committee comprised of men and women from the military, business, and civic community who will work together to staunchly defend the viability of Malmstrom Air Force Base and possibly lessen the impact of New START on the base.
