Pakistan cleric accused of framing Christian girl

A Muslim cleric is arrested by police in Pakistan. Khalid Jadoon Chishty is accused of framing a Christian girl who was charged with burning religious texts. Witnesses claim Chishty planted torn pages of the Koran in her bag full of burned papers. There have been conflicting reports about the girl's age and mental state. Local media report that she is 11 and suffering from Down's Syndrome. She is being held in a high security prison under the country's controversial anti-blasphemy law. The girl's lawyer is applying for bail at a hearing on Monday. Human rights activists have been calling for her release and say the law discriminates against Pakistan's minority groups.

Muslims seek to burn a family alive and have threatened to attack other Christian peoples homes because a man admitted to framing a girl for the offense of burning their stupid holy book. Different muslim sects in Syria are fighting a religious battle to the death. Mobs in Cairo and Benghazi are attacking the US embassies because of a film made by an American that they find offensive. Non-muslims are being butchered by Muslims all over Africa every day. Eventually, the world is going to wake up

Why is the U.S., Europe and others, chasing small groups of terrorists, while maintaining trade agreements with dictatorial governments? Pakistan, which keeps a stranglehold on the non-muslim minority, permits the imprisonment, torture, and murder, of non-muslim citizens under these Blasphemy Laws.

These cases of Rimsha Masih and Asia Bibi, are not isolated occurrences. They are examples of government advocated terrorism. 150 Muslims wanted to burn Rimsha and the Christian homes in the area.

Pakistan should not be an ally to the U.S. as long as this type of terrorism is supported. These Blasphemy Laws are meant to support Islam alone. This is a dictatorial nation because of its unjust laws and government advocated vigilanteism. Human rights violations in Pakistan, such as in the case of Rimsha Masih, and Asia Bibi, will continue until sanctions against Pakistan force the government to re-think their Blasphemy Laws which only serve to produce terrorism and corruption.
