  • lovely tutorial. Did you ever try hot glue gun? I like using them to stick button to flowers.Where do you buy the layer cakes? Im in the UK anyway so would this be in habadashery(SP) shops?

  • hot glue gun...good idea. I get my layer cakes at our local quilt shop or an online fabric store. check out fat quarter shop.

  • Layer cakes can also be called Fat Quarters. They are mainly for quilters.

  • Fat Quarters are larger. They usually measure 18 x 21.

  • I love the bag. I think I will take a stitch in the back of the bag and sew down the rick rack so it won't get lost so it can be regifted! Great Job!

  • I am so loving all of your videos! Thank you so much for taking the time to make them for us. Time is precious for us all. xx

  • HEY I LOVE THIS BUT CAN U MAKE A VIDEO ON HOW TO MAKE THE PILLOWS PLEASE??

  • hi

  • If you sew the zig-zags and buttons on first, how do you fill the bags? I do think this is really cute though. We're coming up on Halloween [Samhain] and I can just see making this with orange material and using black zig-zags as handles to make a small candy bag. Thanks for tutorial.
