  • @Mollidew - Amen!

  • This is Disney. It was a serial shown within the framework of the Mickey Mouse Club that was on every afternoon in the late 50s. This was one of the most popular ones except for Spin and Marty. There were none of the things someone down below posted. People weren't the same then. They didn't use profanity every other word and they had manners.

  • @tracker415 me too!beacuse theres wizards and there used to be hannah montanna i mean make stuff that can actually happen!

  • The breakfast sequence has a nightmarish quality...but this can be said for the whole series: its parade of cultural prejudices, its explosion of invisible presences, its degradation and corrupt indoctrination of young men and women, its class prejudices, etc etc. And of course, infinitely lurking in the background: old old Uncle Walt, always corrupting, always telling lies....fascinating!

  • @fourthgirl About 1.50 meters, more or less.

  • Wouldn't one think that Annette and Uncle Archie have grown close enough by now that she would kiss him goodnight?

  • she is wearing an ascot.

    love<3

  • @porcellaga Considering that everyone has a "midswetern" dialect, the Northern Pacific would be more likely since they are referring to farms as "ranches." The dialog even suggests it: "Out here we call them ranches."

  • @Lurker500 "oldness"!!!???? Well, actually, it's black and white film.

  • This must be what they call "gracious living" silver serving dishes at the kitchen table! This is wonderful and it makes me giggle. Nobody was ever better than Mary Wickes - can't think of a single character actress of today that plays the same type. I miss her.
