It`s almost like a tradition that the VGL in Vancouver always ends with One Winged Angel. Although the first year they didn`t even have any Final Fantasy songs at all... This time around the clip they`re showing are Final Fantasy VII cosplayers! Very cool! :D

  • i Wished they played whole Dansing mad instead

  • @NintendoPowerReview

But I do wish them success and for people to still go and appreciate the music and the hard work. It was just my experience as a music and gaming fan. That's all.

I am a huge fan of this type of idea. As far as the guitar in one winged angel, that is just a preference, hearing many different versions of Uematsu's piece that he has done. The lights and screen where very nice, plus I saw it at the chicago theater, one of the most beautiful theaters there is. I suppose in reference to the tron and assasins creed, I would have rather heard different soundtracks. I guess I just had higher expectations, and they fell short

I did go, I guess I was just expecting more. They would play one song, talk, play another song, talk. They also had two events for fan involvement, one with frogger, another with guitar hero. Which was nice, but I didn't pay all that money to watch other people play. I assumed there were no visuals for FF because of square saying so. They do change the setlist, so I may not have gotten the same setlist as you, in which case, possibly, not as entertaining as yours.

  • @bobiscool99: So if you don't like it, don't go. But have fun watching a normal symphony play normal game music without any lights, screen, or gituar. It will be fun - but not as fun as this,

  • @bobiscool99: And cosplay? That cosplay is absolutley amazing. The music is stunning, the lights are absolutley fantastic, and if you don't like the show then go see Play! A Video Game Symphony. And what is wrong with promoting new games? How is that bad in anyway. Unless your some casual gamer, the line-up in the show is perfect. Classics like Mario, Metroid, and Zelda take over the older croud, and games like Halo take on the new croud. It's a perfect ballance.

  • @bobiscool99: Actually, they've been doing Tron ever since they started in 2005 because Tommy is a huge fan. And Assisins Creed 2? They play that every show now. Also, what do you expect them to use for One Winged Angel. If you know anything about Final Fantasy you'd know that Square is strongly against of their work posted in videos. And why would you want an over-powering gitaur. The ones at VGL are perfect. They don't over-power the song, and they aren't underused.

  • I attended Video games live this past year in chicago. Honestly, not to impressed. A few songs where strickly promo due to upcoming releases (assasins creed 2 and tron), which is kinda sad. I also don't think they did one winged angel justice on guitar. That guitar should have been heavy and full. The visuals were kind of boring, random pictures of characters, or people dressed up as characters. Where was the gameplay? Where was the reliving that epic battle? Sadly, not there.
