@jazzin4bass How much do they go for? Like if I wanted a four string version of this one?
-
well, on one string, pluck, hammeron and tapping combined. its not that hard to do, its just hard to build in a song and make it sound good.
-
To bigwm: No FClef and FBass are two different companies.
-
This brand of bass is F Clef so not the same as F Bass.
-
Of course it would still sound like Marcus, because thats who would be playing. His style won't change. Marcus could not make a Ken smith or a Mtd or a Fodera sound like his Fender. Can't happen, they all have there own distinctive sound.
-
It's called tapping. Look it up.
-
i think he was just using the tapping technique
-
what? if he cant get his sound out of a bass then he won't play it? that takes all the fun out of trying new basses! but then again if i had 'his' sound i wouldn't try any thing else! ive tried MM sig fenders thru EBS and i cant get his sound it's weiiiird, and sad :(
-
Great sounding bass, combination of Marcus' fingers and the fact the bass has been built to a similar spec as his signature bass except with Foders preamps? Is this the same F Bass company form Canada that make the Alain Caron signature?

Nice!
I have one and it sounds exactly the same as Marcus, the best 5 string Jazz around the world!!!

Not neccesarily true.I sat down right next to Marcus and if he can't get his sound out of what he's playing. He won't even play it.
