The best slug fest I have ever seen...if this fight were going on today it would have been stopped 3 or 4 times.

Foreman, in his first or second time around, would beat Tyson. I'm a huge Tyson fan, but come on....not many people can stand up to Foreman's freakish power. The main problem is Tyson's style...his short reach....he's perfect for George. It would be a great fight though, either way.

@greenfruitface true but frazier was the same height/reach as tyson and foreman demolished him, though saying that i cant really compare frazier and tyson because of there differing styles. but i would LOVE to see tyson v foreman in there primes that would be amazing lol

Yeah, I agree with you. When I said "Foreman in his first or second time around..." I meant first or second career, but I worded it poorly. In my opinion, to clarify, George would beat Tyson either way. Not many of the shorter, swarming heavyweights would do well against George, as we saw with Frazier, and would have seen with Tyson. I think Tyson would have been smarter about it, vs. when Frazier came right Foreman and was exposed to those wicked uppercuts. Would be awesome to see though.

Sometimes heavyweight boxers look like middleweights fighting underwater.

Tyson & Foreman were signed to fight in early 1990. Foreman kept badgering to fight Tyson for the championship after he came out of retirement and finally got his wish. Unfortunately Tyson lost to Buster Douglas so the fight with Foreman didnt happen. Tysons trainers and Cus Damato got into Tysons head anyway that Foreman was a bad matchup for him. Really too bad because Tyson didnt really face any great competition when he was champion (even Larry Holmes was a shadow of his former self)
