Natural™:
Being the leaders in high performance equipment, Storm is always looking for ways to make our line more complete. With the growing popularity of Sport Bowling and more challenging lane conditions, we saw a need to offer bowlers a ball to compete in those environments.
Many of these patterns are shorter with less volume. Todays modern reactive urethane bowling balls create a tremendous amount of friction with the lane surface, and many of these balls do not perform well on shorter, more challenging patterns.
Our intent was to design a "pure" urethane coverstock with less surface friction for those challenging patterns along with a core combination that would complement.
We developed the U2S™ coverstock, a second generation of U2000™. It enables one to get length with out the over-reaction that resin sometimes creates. Even though its made of a pure urethane material its dynamic enough to handle todays lane conditioners.
The Turbine™ core creates ample flare to ensure fresh coverstock is always touching the lane. This translates into additional friction to create ample entry angle, without generating an over/under reaction down lane.
The Natural™ integrates classic reaction with todays modern technology to deliver unbeatable

  • How short is this oil pattern?

  • @TheBowlingboy300 Over under reaction is usually, when you are on a wet dry condition. That means that the lane has a lot of oil in the middle and very little on the outside. You miss inside the ball with not hook back up, and if you miss right the ball over reacts and goes high leaving a split or brooklyn.

  • Looks to me like it's a short lane. :p Though it may just be the way I see the lane. Anyone know how long this lane is?

  • Work on consistency.

  • @TheMusicjuice Urethane is built with a different core and not meant to hook alot where as resin are meant to hook more and hit the pocket harder

  • @TheMusicjuice Depends on what u mean by regular bowling balls... Urethane balls replaced the plastic balls of old, and now reactive resin has replaced urethane...

  • @TheMusicjuice Urethane is another material, and urethane balls hook way less than regular balls, and also has way less hitting power, they are however more predictable.

  • whats the difference between urithane and regular bowling balls?

  • I was wondering what is a over under reaction and how does it happen

    Thanks Trevor

  • i want 1!!!!!
